How To: Stream music with Stingray on Ignite TV

The Stingray App is a free value add for all Ignite TV customers. You can search 50+ channels of music by genre or channel. Features include profiles, saved channels, recently played, and usage based recommendations.

Note: A Shaw or Rogers Internet subscription is required to use apps on Ignite TV.

Login and profile creation

  • Press the SHAW button on your remote to get to the home screen
  • Select Apps or Applications
  • Navigate to Stingray, available under Featured or Video, and press OK

Did you know You can launch the Stingray Music App by using the voice remote? Say Stingray into your remote to launch the app.

 

Profile creation

  1. Open Stingray App in Ignite TV
  2. Navigate to the top of your screen and select Profile 1
  3. Under Profiles select Create New Profile
  4. Name the new profile
  5. Select content to add to your favourites

Content discovery

When the Stingray App opens, the home screen appears. From here, you can navigate to the channels and start streaming.
