Troubleshooting Ignite WiFi Gateway (Gen 2) WiFi 6 Intel compatibility issues

Some Intel specific wireless adapters have shown compatibility issues with connecting to WiFi 6 capable networks. Often these wireless connectivity issues are resolved by downloading the latest WiFi driver for the Intel wireless adapter on their device.

Solution

1. Confirm you are using an Ignite WiFi Gateway (Gen 2) (formerly known as Fibre+ Gateway 2.0)
   • If you are using any other equipment see Troubleshooting: WiFi connection issues
2. Check that you are using an Intel WiFi adapter in the Hardware Properties in Network & Internet settings
   • If you are using a non-Intel adapter see Troubleshooting: WiFi connection issues
3. Make sure that the driver is up to date in Windows
4. Contact Microsoft Windows support if the challenge persists
