Issues with linking devices

Follow these steps if you're unable to link a smart home device to the Ignite HomeConnect App:

  1. Make sure your Ignite HomeConnect App is updated to the latest version from your app store.
  2. Ensure your smart home device is added to its included third party app (from the manufacturer).
  3. Confirm you have properly added the device to Ignite HomeConnect by following these steps.
  4. Log out and back in to the Ignite HomeConnect App.
  5. If possible, try setting it up on a different mobile device using the Ignite HomeConnect App.
  6. Uninstall and re-install the Ignite HomeConnect App on your mobile device.

Issues with controlling a linked device 

If you're unable to control a smart home device after linking it to the Ignite HomeConnect App, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the device in question can be controlled through the manufacturer's app.
  2. Make sure your Ignite HomeConnect App is updated to the latest version from your app store.
  3. Log out and back in to the Ignite HomeConnect App.
  4. Unlink and re-add the smart home device in question.
