About the new speed upgrade

About the new speed upgrade (from internet 150 to 300mb and for 300mb to 600mb) it says it will be automatic. My question is for the people who have internet 150 with the hitron modem, do we need to change modems in order to receive the upgrade? Thank you

Thank you for reaching out! I have some great news, all compatible Cisco and Hitron modems will work up to 300 Mbps, and XB6 modems will work up to 600 Mbps. If you have more questions, you may find more specific details here in the FAQ section.
