allow traffic on port 56700?

Using Hiltron Modem.

My application (LIFX) uses port 56700 (TCP/UDP) to connect to it's "cloud".

The "typical" firewall setting on my modem blocks that port through a P2P firewall block:

vuse - (TCP port 41952 - 65534)

Is there a way to setup an "exception" so that traffic for 56700 is allowed?

Right now - they only way I can get this to work is to set the firewall back to "minimal" - which is not what I want.

Thanks

Hey lawman508,

Thank you for reaching out! Opening up ports are not supported. What you can do with the Hitron is to enable a secondary IP for an IP passthrough, this should open up the port or you can connect a third party router that supports this specific feature. You can find the steps on how to set that up here. Hope that helps. Otherwise, others in our Community may chime in on this subject.

Cheers,
