I am using Ookla site consistently including Shaw's site and I can obtain over 300 Mbps using their multi connection. However, when I test using the single connection mode: which is best for testing over a VPN or simulating a single file download, I only attain just over 150 Mbps which is what I had before the upgrade from 150 to 300 Mbps.
@Monster187 it may be a device limitation. It also depends on the server you are connecting to. Do you notice slower speeds over WiFi or is it the same with a direct ethernet connection to a PC? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
