Shaw assured me that the self connect was simple and that everything would work perfectly. I plugged in my router and it turns out there is no connection in the neighbourhood pedestal to my house because the coax is unplugged. I spoke to Shaw and they insisted that it will take 8 days for a tech to come plug it in. I don’t understand how Edmonton would have such high wait times or is it because Shaw doesn’t really care to have good support?
