TV does not connect to Shaw 5G

I have this TV (Sharp 40" Full HD LED Smart TV (LC40N5002U) )

Also,I have Shaw internet  which has 2 speeds  (2.4 and 5G) . This TV dose not recognize  Wifi with 5G .My laptop and phone are able to connect to 5G.It sounds wired  for the smart TV.I have no idea how to fix it .

Do I need some settings to connect to 5G?

Hey suma.kh21,

Thank you for reaching out! If your other devices are able to connect to the 5G network, then the modem is broadcasting the network properly. It may be a setting or something you need to enable on the TV. I'd recommend reaching out to Sharp directly through their contact here. Otherwise, our Community members may also chime in on this.

Thanks for your answer .Currently Sharp TVs do not support 5G internet service.
