Unable to Cancel Shaw Service

I have been trying (unsuccessfully)  to cancel my Shaw service. Every time I get transferred to the Cancellation department I get put on hold, and eventually the call drops out. I contracted Shaw via chat, but they will not cancel my service using the chat service. I asked the person on the other side of the chat to provide my number to the cancellation department, but they declined to do this. I am at a loss.
