I chatted with an agent or two regarding cancellation of my Internet service. They sent me a secure form in which to enter the PIN/Passphrase. I was clueless and hence could not submit the form. I dont remember setting up a PIN# . Regarding Passphrase, there is a passphrase on my Modem device which is basically my Internet password. Can somebody tell me what is expected to be entered in these forms to verify my identity?
Your pin code was something that was set by you, we wouldn’t know what it would be. You will need to use a different method to authenticate with Shaw, usually by answering some questions about your account.

If I were a Shaw employee (never have been & too old to want to apply), and I gave away a modem without some authentication, I would say so stupid to myself, just after I got "out-placed", for not following the company's policy.
