Which is best modem/router hardware Shaw offers? Is Cisco 3848V better than Hitron CGNM-2250? Or Bluecurve better and advanced.

So now if I get BlueCurve the Internet cable from Shaw goes directly into BlueCurve and you have wi-fi and wired connection from the device.

You can always buy your own router / WAP setup and use whatever shaw router in bridge mode.    ISPs modems are made for mass deployment, not savvy power users.

For 300mbs subscription, is there a difference in handling of speed or handling of packets between hiltron and bluecurve?

@Ngbots packet traffic handling does not differ between the Hitron and BlueCurve Gateway modem. The BlueCurve Gateway does have additional features such as the ability to add WiFI Pods for a mesh set up, more configurable parental controls, etc.
