Shaw Mobile is dedicated to protecting you against fraudulent activity and unauthorized access to your personal and account details.

To maintain your account safety and protect you from SIM Swap fraud, your SIM card can only be changed in My Shaw Mobile by the Account Holder or an Authorized Account User.

Changing a Physical SIM Card in My Shaw Mobile

To complete a physical SIM card change in My Shaw Mobile:

  1. Ensure you have a blank physical SIM card. You can purchase a SIM card from our retail stores and select partners
  2. Login to My Shaw Mobile
    • You’ll be required to complete multi-factor authentication, in which your phone number, PIN, and additional information are required.
  3. Navigate to the Profile Tab and click on Manage SIM/eSIM
  4. Select Physical SIM Card
  5. Enter the New SIM Card Number
  6. Click Accept on the disclaimer
  7. Click on Confirm & Change SIM Card
  8. Insert the new SIM card into your device
  9. Restart your device

Changing an eSIM in My Shaw Mobile

Before attempting to switch to an eSIM Card, we recommend confirming your phone is eSIM-compatible. Use our Device Compatibility Checker to confirm device compatibility.

To complete an eSIM setup in My Shaw Mobile:

  1. Login to My Shaw Mobile
    • You’ll be required to complete multi-factor authentication, in which your phone number, PIN, and additional information are required.
  2. Navigate to the Profile Tab and click on Manage SIM/eSIM
  3. Select eSIM
  4. Enter your phone’s IMEI number to confirm compatibility
  5. Click Accept on the disclaimer
  6. Click on Confirm & Change SIM Card
  7. Scan the QR code or manually enter the eSIM number into your eSIM compatible device

Important: To move an eSIM from one device to a new eSIM device, you'll need to follow the same steps listed above.
