All Shaw Mobile plans include access to over 450,000 Shaw Go WiFi hotspots across Western Canada. Your Shaw Mobile device is designed to automatically connect and authenticate when you have WiFi turned on and are in-range of the ShawPasspoint or ShawMobileHotspot network names.

Connecting to Shaw Go WiFi

Shaw Mobile devices automatically connect to Shaw Go WiFi hotspots - no sign-in or credentials required.  Devices purchased directly from us, or that have service on a compatible device with a Shaw Mobile SIM card installed will automatically connect to either the ShawPasspoint or ShawMobileHotspot networks.

If your device does not automatically connect to Shaw Go WiFi hotspots, it's usually because you brought your own device when you signed up for Shaw Mobile. In these cases, you may need to manually connect to a hotspot for your first-use.
