TTY is an operator service that allows people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired to place calls to standard telephone users via a keyboard or assistive device.

IP Relay Service
Shaw Mobile offers IP Relay to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to place and receive text-based relay calls from their mobile device or personal computer.
IP to Voice calls within North America are free of charge to the IP caller. International and directory assistance calls will be charged at regular rates and will appear on your Shaw Mobile invoice.

Directory Assistance
Shaw Mobile offers a credit for the visually impaired to cover the cost of three (3) directory assistance calls per month.
To qualify for this credit, you'll need to activate a standard plan and contact us to have the credit applied to the account.
To receive the credit, you’ll also need to maintain your account in good standing. User activities that result in a lapsed subscription or unsubscribing will result in loss of the eligibility for this credit.
Alternative Format Documentation
If you require your contract, invoices, and other information in an alternative format this can be completed free of charge for customers with disabilities, upon request. Contact us to make a request.
Text with 9-1-1 (T9-1-1)
Text with 9-1-1 (T9-1-1) allows deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or speech impaired (DHHSI) persons to communicate with 9-1-1 call centres using wireless-based text messaging.
