Shaw customers in wireless coverage areas of Alberta and British Columbia may be eligible for a discount on select Shaw Mobile rate plans when they also subscribe to a qualifying residential Internet plan.

About the Shaw Mobile Discount Program

If you are a residential Shaw Internet customer within the Shaw Mobile coverage area of Alberta or British Columbia, you may be eligible for a discount on select Shaw Mobile rate plans.

To receive the discount, you’ll need to:

  1. Maintain an eligible Shaw residential Internet plan and applicable tier of service, if required.
  2. Link your Shaw Internet account to your Shaw Mobile account.

Important: You can only link one Shaw Mobile account to a Shaw Internet services account with active Internet service. A maximum of six mobile lines are eligible for rate plan discounts on an account.

Your account will become ineligible for Shaw Mobile discounts if:

  1. You cancel or downgrade your internet service
  2. Your account status changes due to payment delinquency or non-payment.

If your account become ineligible, discounts on all mobile lines will be immediately removed and your previously provided discounts may not be recoverable. Discount eligibility is subject to change at any time – for the latest Shaw Mobile rate plan pricing click here.

To add applicable discounts to your eligible Shaw Mobile rate plan(s):

  • Existing Shaw Internet customer adding Shaw Mobile service: If your account is eligible, we will automatically link your accounts and apply Shaw Mobile rate plan discounts when activating mobile service in Alberta or British Columbia at a Shaw Store or participating retail partner.   • New Shaw Internet customer and new to Shaw Mobile: If you are signing up for Internet and Mobile service in Alberta or British Columbia at a Shaw Store, your accounts will be linked and mobile rate plan discounts will automatically be added to your service during activation.
  • Existing Shaw Mobile customer adding Shaw Internet: If you have already activated Shaw Mobile and add an eligible Shaw Internet plan at a later date, please contact us to have your accounts linked and applicable discounts added to your rate plan(s).

Eligible Residential Internet Plans

The following residential Internet plans are currently eligible for mobile rate plan discounts, as listed on the Shaw Mobile website. As discount eligibility is subject to change at any time, final eligibility is determined at time of sign-up or during the account linking process conducted by a Shaw Store, participating retail partner, or by contacting Customer Care. Not all Residential Internet plans (including discounts applied to accounts) are eligible for Shaw Mobile discounts and may require an Internet plan change to become eligible. Both month-to-month and ValuePlan rates for listed Internet plans are eligible for Shaw Mobile discounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my Shaw Mobile rate plan discount if I cancel or change my Shaw Internet plan?

If you cancel or change your Internet plan such that you no longer subscribe to an eligible Internet plan as set out above, all rate plans on all lines will have their discount removed. If you become eligible again through an upgrade or re-subscribe to an eligible Internet plan, existing in-market discounts will apply and previously provided discounts will no longer be available.

I am an existing Shaw Mobile customer and recently signed up for Internet, how do I add applicable rate plan discounts?

To have applicable Shaw Mobile discounts applied to your rate plan(s), please contact us.

I have a Shaw Business Internet plan, am I eligible for Shaw Mobile discounts?

At this time, only residential Internet accounts and plans are eligible for Shaw Mobile discounts.

I have Shaw TV, am I eligible for Shaw Mobile discounts?

At this time, Shaw Mobile discounts are only available for customers with eligible residential Internet plans.

I have Shaw Direct, am I eligible for Shaw Mobile discounts?

At this time, Shaw Mobile discounts are only available for customers with eligible residential Internet plans.

What happens if I downgrade my Internet and am no longer eligible for mobile discounts specific to my plan?

If you change or downgrade your Internet plan, you will migrate to the current in-market Shaw Internet bundle discounts applicable to your new Internet plan. This may result in a change to your existing discounts on each Shaw Mobile line and your existing discounts may be unrecoverable.
