Group Messaging is the ability to send text, picture and video messages between multiple recipients of a group conversation using multimedia messaging (MMS).

In order to have a successful group conversation, it requires all recipients of the message to be with a carrier and device that supports Group Messaging.

Chat features (RCS) for Android and iMessage for Apple devices can also offer alternative, enhanced group messaging experiences.
