My Gateway quit working today.
Portals can't find it, so I checked out the gateway box. Was dead, couldn't power on.
Unplugged and replugged in.
Power light flashes pink once, a pause, then flashes blue twice, then off.
Is it dead? Can it be fixed?
Thanks, tried another adapter, but same problem.
I can hear a faint whirring sound, almost like the internal drive is having trouble spinning up. Happens in sets of three.
Contact Shaw support then, see if they'll fix it.. If you have had it for less than 3 years they will, if more than three years, maybe..
And by fix, they will just replace it with another..
If you are renting it, then it is covered under warranty as long as you are paying for it..
