Can't reset cable box. Keep getting a "no IP" message. Tried resetting several times.

Check that the coaxial-cable between the wall-outlet (or splitter) and your TV box is tightly connected at both ends.

If there is a coaxial-splitter, temporarily bypass it -- connect your TV box directly to the wall-outlet.

Did you "reset" by disconnecting the power-cord from your TV box, and waiting a few seconds, before reconnecting it?
