Error TVAPP-00273 found during VPN to BlueCurve Streaming

Has anyone else had success using VPN on Canadian server to stream BlueCurve from abroad?

Seems to have worked in the past, but now is not working?

@stordiffe -- can you elaborate on "not working"?  Any error-messages, such as "connection refused" ?

Which supplier of VPN are you using? Do they have IP-addresses in areas that Shaw serves, e.g., BC & Alberta & ...  ???

I watch Shaw Bluecurve through Safari or Chrome daily without issue.

I recently travelled to the US, and have used VPN to Canadian server to stream and watch DVR until recently.

I use SurfShark for years, and also tested TunnelBear.

I geolocated IP when on VPN.  I tried various Canadian server locations including the area I live.

I tested from home by streaming without VPN, then turn on VPN, then get the Error TVAPP-00273.  Then turn off VPN, and can stream again.

I tried multiple web browsers, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, each with settings to assist with geolocations.

Did something change on BlueCurve?
