Maximum Registered Devices?

I get occasional error when I try to go into the crave app on Apple TV. The message says …you have reached the maximum number of registered devices… then options to hit either …OK…or…manage devices…

If I choose …manage devices…I’m taken to a screen saying  “go to your bell media account”

what is happening and why is it random?

I'm a Shaw customer. I have no direct connection with either one. They'd look at me as though I have two heads, and say "call Shaw":

You are using the Crave app on Apple TV, Bell owns Crave. Even though you may subscribe to Crave through Shaw, unless you are having issues with Crave through your cable box, it is not a Shaw problem. You likely need to go to crave.ca and login to manage the number of devices on your account.

Oh well, maybe I'll switch to Bell.

Edit I figured it out. Had to use a PC browser and then crave, then manage.

I can't seem to edit my response. I just noticed in the "manage devices section of crave.ca", this comment at the top of the section:

"You can still register 4 devices until December 6"!

So that still begs the question why Bell was screeching I we reached my maximum number of devices on the Apple TV. I deleted and added one back.

*sigh*

Technology is great, when the companies using it know how to support it.
