I had a no ip message on downstairs cable box. Tried to reboot but nothing fixed. Upstairs TV box was working so I went up to switch boxes to see if that was the problem. Now I havb N o IP on boith boxes. No TV on either now.
@Leaper Typically the NoIP message on the front of your cable box would indicate that it's not receiving a signal from the cable outlet, similar to the error mentioned on this page, the same steps there would be relevant to the behaviour that you are seeing.
