Purchased used 630 PVR how to tell if it can be activiated?

Hello,

My neighbour has a 630PVR, how can i tell if i can add it to my account and activate it?

Someone told me Shaw will not transfer 630PVR between accounts.

Hi @Canboro , you just need to call or chat with Shaw support directly.  Just give them the Make/Model/Serial number of the box and they will tell you if you can activate the unit, or it is out of date or is already registered active on someone else's account.  Hope this helps. P.S. the chat function is usually faster than the phone.
