My BlueCurve had audio drops when i installed it 3 years ago. It was connected through a Denon receiver by HDMI, I switched to optical and that fixed the problem. I still have it setup that way, so I am not sure if any updates solved that problem, I should switch back to HDMI to see.
Are the recordings "local" on your PVR, or were the programs recorded to Shaw's "Cloud PVR" ?
If the former, it is possible that the disk-drive inside the PVR is having problems -- problems when writing/recording, and problems when reading/playback.
not personal PVR - Shaw remote PVR access.
