I recorded on the Global HD channel on the 17th February 2020. During playback the audio drops out frequently. Did anybody else suffer this?
Which Shaw device do you have? Motorola PVR? Pace PVR? Gateway? BlueCurve? How old is the device?
If the disk-drive inside the box is "dying", then recording might be problematic, and playback of that recording could exhibit your symptoms.
We're experiencing that too. All this week viewing directly through the tv there has been breakup with the audio and video.
