Our SHAW TV box has been constantly booting all morning and hence no TV available. I have unplugged it for 20 minutes and when it was re-plugged, still says boot on the front. Any other ways to remotely fix this since obviously we can't let a tech into our house right now while social distancing?
@dsawchuk15 This behaviour can occur due to interruptions to the power supply to the box, ensure that the power cord is connected securely at the electrical outlet and the back of of the box, and if possible try bypassing any power bars, extension cords or multi-outlet adapters to see if that improves the situation. If you're still seeing the same behavior, get in touch with our technical support team here.

Which one? Motorola? Pace? Gateway? BlueCurve?
Is it a PVR, with a disk-drive inside, or just a Digital Box, with an external "Shaw Expander" disk-drive, to add PVR capability?
How old is the box? Many disk-drives have a 1 or 2 or 3-year warranty.
If a "Shaw Expander" is connected, disconnect it, and power-off/power-on the TV box. Better?
Is the box inside a (warm?? hot??) cabinet, or out in the open? Never put a soft cloth under such a box -- it blocks air-flow of cooling air.
