TV issues

Most times when you are finished watching recorded show and push the delete button, it hesitates and then asks you to RESTART. (which takes several minutes) Quite often when you turn the TV on it asks you to update, tried following that trail, led to a dead end, no update. In the middle of watching a movie or show it comes up with RESTART - SORRY WE`RE HAVING TROUBLE. this totally sucks. I`ve tightened every cable and de powered all the boxes. I`ve went in and did a REFRESH. I do not know what else to do.

This is not an issue that can be solved on this user-to-user discussion forum.

You need to contact (online chat or telephone) Shaw, and get them to trouble-shoot, or maybe to replace the device.

Is that a message from the electronics inside your TV, or is that a message from your Shaw TV box being displayed on your TV screen? 

What brand and model of TV do you have? How old is it?
