What are/is the rental Motorola PVR model?

I heard I may get a couple free PVR rentals with my service package but I'm curious what those models are.  Thanks if anyone knows.  One of my old ones is losing channels it seems.

@wetcoast99 You would have to contact Shaw to be sure, but it is most likely going to be BlueCurve boxes.

See: Shaw Legacy Cable Box Upgrade

to see the set-top boxes that Shaw still supports, and the "sunset" dates for some Motorola boxes.

Note that the older Motorola boxes could not process "MPEG4" video. Shaw uses that compression for some of their channels. So, if you select one of those channels, you will "lose" the video.

The newest HDPVR is the "BlueCurve". The previous generation ("Arris Gateway") is getting "long-in-the-tooth" -- its internal disk-drive probably is much older than the manufacturer's warranty for the disk-drive.
