There is an unknown device connected to my network that I can't remove because it's consistently connected to my network

Use the mobile app: BlueCurve,

click Connect, find the unauthorized device, click on it and select Pause Device - Until I Unpause.

This device will not be able to continue connecting to your Wi-Fi.

Why is there no option to kick the device? THAT'S INSANE!

So someone hacks your wifi and gets in and you cannot kick them off?!

I ended up having my Bluecurve modem replaced which helped.  Then I hide my SIID but then learned the I could not use BTS to link my other devices.  I learned that hiding my SIID using a browser to connect to my modem disabled the BTS option to connect devices.  There was no information on this on the Shaw support website but I discovered a note when I connected to the Bluecurve modem using a browser.

You have at least two options:

1. within Shaw's router, "dedicate" the offender's MAC-address to a specific "static" IP-address. Then, change the range of "dynamic" IP-addresses that Shaw's router gives to computers on your local network. For example, if Shaw's router is handing-out IP-addresses like "10.0.0.xxx" to your devices, change the range to "192.168.22.100-to-192.168.22.200", and reboot the router. Thus, the offender is "frozen" onto a non-working IP-address.

2. change your WiFi password.
