Trying to port or transfer shaw emails to Proton Mail

My email is being hosted by an account I am no longer associated with. I have been making changes to all the accounts, apps etc that have been using my shaw.ca address to my new Proton address. After 23 years with Shaw this is taking a long time

What I need to do is get all of my old, archived emails out of Shaw webmail (only access I have) and imported to Thunderbird where I am accessing my new proton mail.

Can anyone help?

TGZ ==> a GNU-ZIP-compression of a TAR file.

That is not the most common file-format. Good luck on importing such a file into your new E-mail client.

This free software: https://www.nchsoftware.com/software/free-downloads.html?software=zip

might be helpful.  YMMV
