Summary: Due to extreme weather and driving conditions in British Columbia, some customers are temporarily without service. Once weather conditions in the affected areas subside, our local technicians will work to restore services as quickly as possible. Please note there will be delays in technician visits and equipment shipping. Our thoughts go out to all those impacted by the extreme weather and we greatly appreciate your patience during this time.

11/26/2021 17:46 PT Shaw Internet and Video services in Hope have successfully been restored.  To ensure your connection is working as expected, please power down your modem or TV players for 30 seconds and then plug back in. Please be aware that customers impacted by this event will receive a 30 day credit on their next invoice. additional technicians will be on the ground in Hope over the next week to support any individual service issues.

Shaw Internet services in Hope were successfully restored effective 3:00PM PST.  We continue to work to restore Video services fully, and will provide an update when those are restored as well.  To ensure your connection is working as expected, please power down your modem for 30 seconds and then plug back in.  As previously communicated, you will receive a 30 day bill credit on your next invoice for the inconvenience and we thank you again for your patience.  Additional technicians will be on the ground in Hope over the next week to support any individual service issues.

11/25/2021 15:55 PT Our techs have made great progress overnight to restore services. As of 3:30PM on Thursday November 25th we estimate that we will have all services back up and running in 24- 48 hours.  We will provide another update by end of day on Friday with our progress and we thank you again for your continued patience.
11/24/2021 16:09 PT Technicians continue to work around the clock to restore Shaw services in Hope. Shaw’s technical team estimates that the work required between ourselves and our partner’s team should be completed in the next 48 - 72 hours. We are optimistic that services will be back up and running by the weekend. Shaw will provide another update on Thursday afternoon on our progress. 
11/23/2021 07:35 PT Services for much of the Fraser Valley have been restored, but some customers still remain offline in the Sumas Prairie, Merritt, and Hope regions.  Our technicians continue to work to restore services, as conditions allow, but due to the nature of repairs involved, there is no ETA at this time.
