Changing your Phone Number
Before you change your number, please be aware:
- There is a $10.00 (+ applicable taxes) charge to change your phone number
- Your previous number will become unavailable, for a period of up to 90 days, before it is made available to the public. We cannot restore your previous number if you choose to change it.
- We cannot guarantee a specific phone number is available for selection.
To change your phone number, use the steps below:
- Log into My Shaw Mobile
- Go to Plan & Device Details and select Change Number.
- Select your Province and City from the available drop-down menu options and select Check Available Phone Numbers.
- Select a new phone number from the available options.
- Agree to the terms and conditions, then select Confirm to complete the change.
Transferring a Phone Number
If you have an existing phone number with another provider, you can transfer that number to Shaw Mobile to replace your existing number. There is no charge to transfer a phone number over to Shaw Mobile.
