Shaw ID is a single login for Shaw products and services like My Shaw, BlueCurve Home, BlueCurve TV App, and Shaw Go WiFi. Each Shaw account can have one Primary Shaw ID, belonging to the primary account holder. Up to four secondary Shaw IDs can be created for others in your household. 

Creating a primary Shaw ID

To create a Primary Shaw ID, visit and click Create a Shaw ID.


  1. Enter an email address and choose a password as your Shaw ID.
    If your Email Address is registered to your Shaw Account number, go to step 3.
    Password requirements: Minimum 8 characters, a number, an uppercase, and a lowercase character.

  1. Enter your Account Number and Postal Code found on your monthly bill.

  1. You will receive an email to activate your Shaw ID.
  2. Open your email from and click Activate Now. The link will be valid for 48 hours.

Create a secondary Shaw ID

To invite someone to create a Shaw ID on your Shaw account, using the My Shaw website:


  1. Visit
  2. Sign in using your Shaw ID and password.
  3. Click My Profile and scroll down to My Shaw IDs.
  4. Click Add Shaw ID.
  5. Enter a name and email address to send the invitation to create a Shaw ID on your account.

You can also invite someone using the My Shaw mobile app (Apple App Store | Google Play Store).

  1. Open the My Shaw app.
  2. Tap the menu icon:
    • On an Apple device, tap the three dots (…) in the bottom right corner.
    • On an Android device, tap the three lines (☰) in the top left corner

  3. Tap Invite.
  4. Enter the name an email address of the person you want to invite.
  5. Tap Invite to send the invitation to create a Shaw ID on your account.

Shaw ID invitation links are valid for 48 hours.
