This document lists the options available for you to pay your bill.

Did you know: The quickest and easiest way to check your balance and make a payment on your account is through the My Shaw app. Payments via My Shaw (app or web) are instantly applied to your account.

How to pay your bill via My Shaw

Payments made with a credit card through My Shaw will be applied to your account immediately.

To make a payment via My Shaw:

  1. Sign in to My Shaw.
  2. Select My Bills.
  3. Choose Pay My Bill. Fill out your payment details.
  4. Select Submit.

How to pay your bill without signing in

To pay without needing to sign into My Shaw:

  1. Go to shaw.ca/easypay
  2. Enter your Account Number and payment amount.
  3. Enter your Credit Card information and select Continue.
  4. Review your details and select Submit payment.

To pay your bill even faster and easier, you can set up Automatic Payments through My Shaw.

Internet or telephone banking

You can pay your bill through your own personal banking service. Depending on your bank, you may call or log in to your banking service to make a payment. Payments will be applied to your account in approximately 2-4 business days. Starting July 15th, 2024, payment sent by bank will count as paid on time if the payment was sent on or before your bill’s due date.

 When making a payment, please make sure:

  • Your account number is correct.
    • You can find your account number at the top of your bill.
  • The payee (who you're making a payment to) is correct. Different banks may show variations on the payee name, look for options like:
    • Shaw Cablesystems G.P.
    • Shaw Cable Systems LTD.
    • Shaw Cable.  

How to pay your bill using our automated telephone service

Payments made with a credit card will be applied to your account immediately.

To make a payment via our automated telephone service: 

  1. Call 1-888-472-2222.
  2. Choose your preferred language.

Follow the voice-automated prompts.

In-person at any financial institution

Payments will be applied to your account within 4-7 business days. Starting July 15th, 2024, payment sent by bank will count as paid on time if the payment was sent before your bill’s due date.

You can pay your bill at any financial institution. To do so:

  1. Bring your bill.
  2. Make sure you have the correct account number
    • You can find your account number at the top of your bill.
  3. Make a payment to Shaw Cable. Your bank may show variations of payee names, such as:
    • Shaw Cablesystems G.P.,
    • Shaw Cable Systems LTD, or
    • Shaw Cable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of payments can I use in My Shaw?

For one-time payments, you can use credit cards, Visa/Mastercard debit cards, and prepaid Visa in the My Shaw app or on the My Shaw website.

For Automatic Payments, you can only use credit or Visa Debit cards. Please note that your Visa Debit card must be enabled for recurring payments. To check if yours is enabled, reach out to your bank.

What types of payments can I use at a retail/kiosk?
Depending on the retail location, you can use almost all types of payments:

  • Credit card, debit card, prepaid Visa, Visa/MasterCard debit.
  • Some retail locations only accept credit cards or debit cards.
  • Some locations do accept cash but don't provide change.

What types of payments can I use for Automatic Payments?

You can only use credit cards for Automatic Payments, whether you’re setting them up in MyShaw, over the phone or chat or at a store. 

You can also visit a store with a void cheque and we can add your debit card/bank information for Automatic Payments.
