The Rogers Xfinity (formerly known as Shaw Home) app lets you easily manage and protect your home WiFi and connected devices right from your smartphone from anywhere, at any time. You can install your gateway modem and set up your home WiFi network in minutes, find your WiFi password, turn on Advanced Security cyberthreat protection, and troubleshoot issues whenever you choose. Plus, manage family members' online experiences with features like Pause and Parental Controls.
The Rogers Xfinity app is available exclusively for Fibre+ or Rogers Xfinity Internet subscribers with an Rogers Xfinity Gateway modem (formerly known as Fibre+ Gateway).
Setting up and using Rogers Xfinity
Follow the steps below to access the Rogers Xfinity App.
How to get the app
- Download the free Rogers Xfinity (Shaw) app (Apple App Store or Google Play).
- Sign in with your Shaw ID username and password.
Supported mobile operating systems
- iOS 15 or later and Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later are supported.
- Windows phones and Amazon phones are not supported.
Note:
If you get an error saying “We encountered an issue”:
- Check that your Shaw ID shows the correct account number.
- If you have multiple accounts, make sure you set your Rogers account as the primary account.
Third-party routers do not support Rogers Xfinity.
