If you have received email spam, there are multiple ways in which you can report it. The quickest way to report spam to Shaw is through Webmail, but you can also forward spam to Shaw from a 3rd party email app.

Reporting email spam through Webmail

When you use this method to report spam, your email headers will be submitted to Shaw automatically.

  1. Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. Open the email you would like to report as spam.
  4. Click the Spam button at the top of the window.

Reporting a phishing email:

Please forward suspecting phishing attempts to our Internet Security team at: internet.abuse@sjrb.ca.  Include the email headers in order to allow us to track the sender.

Headers should be included by default when using Shaw Webmail. If using a 3rd party email software, please configure to include (generally found in properties or settings)

Reporting spam using 3rd party email apps

If you would prefer to report spam Shaw through your 3rd party email app:

  1. Forward the spam email to reportspam@shaw.ca.
  2. Include the spam's email headers into the body of your email.

Viewing email headers will vary for each 3rd party email app, though generally found in settings or properties. Please see support on your chosen app for more.
