Webmail includes contact lists to help you manage your contacts' email addresses. You can use the Contacts feature to add email contacts to your contact list, manage information about your email contacts and share contact information as needed.

How to view your contacts
To view a list of your contacts:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- Select a contact group to view a list of contacts in that group.
- Select a contact to view detailed information.
How to edit a contact
To edit a contact card in your contact list:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- In your contact list, select the contact you want to edit.
- Click Edit in the toolbar.
- Update the information on the contact card.
- Click Save in the toolbar.
How to delete a contact
To delete a contact from your contacts list:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- In your contact list, select the contact you want to edit.
- Click Delete in the toolbar.
The contact will be moved into your trash folder. To delete multiple contacts, select check boxes next to contact names in Step 4.
How to search for a contact
There are two ways to search for a Webmail contact: alphabetical filtering and the search bar. You will need to know your contact's last name.
To use alphabetical filtering:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- Click a letter in the alphabet that runs across the top of your contact list.
The contact list will refresh, displaying only contacts who have last names beginning with that letter.
Using the search bar:
- Locate the search bar at the top of the Webmail window.
- In the search bar, click the down arrow and select Contacts.
- Enter the last name of your contact in the search bar.
- Press the Enter key on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass icon.
How to create a contact group
You can create contact groups so that you can email multiple people in one email. To create a contact group:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- Expand the Add New Contact dropdown list and select Contact Group.
- Enter a group name.
- On the right, select a contact you want to add to your group.
- Click the upper Add button to add the contact to the group.
- Click the Add All button to add all contacts to the group.
- Or enter new email addresses in the text box and click the lower Add button.
- Click Save.
How to send email to a contact
To send an email to a contact in your saved contact list:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- Click New Message.
- In the New Message window, click To:, select an email address.
- Select a contact on the left side of the window.
- Click To, CC, or BCC to add the addresses to your recipient list on the right.
- Click OK.
- Write your email and click Send.
How to share a contact
You can share a contact's information to someone via email as a .vcf file. To do this:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- In your contact list, select the contact you want to share.
- Click Actions and select Forward Contact.
- Write your email and click Send.
How to print your contacts
To print contact information:
- Go to https://webmail.shaw.ca
- Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
- Click Contacts at the top of the page.
- In your contact list, select the contact you want to share.
- Click the printer icon in the toolbar and click Print selected contact(s).
- Choose your printing preferences (which will vary based on your browser).
In Step 4 above, you could also select a contact group from the contact list, to print all of the contacts in that group.
