Can anyone help my gaming laptop internet speed?

Hello.

I have Arris XB6 modem for 600 plane and I don't have third-party hardware.

I tested my internet speed on Shaw speed test, DSL reports, Speedtest DOT net.

And I got 200 to 230 download, 15~20 upload speed with Lan cable and Wifi 5G.

So I told to Shaw and  they sent a technician for check my modem.

He tested speed with new modem and only my mobile speed is up to 500 to 580.

The technician told me something blocking internet speed on my laptop.

but I don't know how to check and finding problems....

I need help!

Hey yungdrasil,

Thank you for reaching out! If your mobile is receiving higher speeds than your laptop, it may be the ethernet card or a program/setting on your laptop that is limiting speeds. I'd recommend reaching out to the laptop manufacturer MSI for some troubleshooting.
