Can't log into my.shaw.ca account from anywhere

It's been almost a year that I have been getting this message when I try to log into my Shaw account:

 

"Sorry, something went wrong.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Don't worry, your account information is secure.

Try refreshing the page. If you get this message again, it means we're fixing something. Please try again later or contact us."

It happens on my personal computer, my work computer and my android phone. At this point, I am starting to suspect that you are, in fact, not fixing something.

What can I do to remedy this situation? Being unable to access my account is frustrating.

Just a suggestion but have you tried removing all cookies...

@canehdianman  Just a suggestion but have you tried removing all cookies and cache in your browser related to Shaw and then restart your browser (ie. Edge/Chrome/Firefox). Sometimes the cookies can be corrupted and that can be a reason to see the error that you are getting.  Hope this can work for you.

Removing cookies did not work, I had tried that before. Also, it is persistent across different platforms, so it feels like the issue is on Shaw's end.

@canehdianman , Yes that does seem to imply that there is a problem with accessing your account online.  The only thing I can say is for you to contact Rogers/Shaw directly either thru the chat service (Big Red Need Help? button) or phone them at 1-888-472-2222 and explain what is happening.  Wish I could be of more help, maybe someone else can chime in with a different solution.

@canehdianman -- I think that the issue is not on any of your computers/devices.

Logon to the My Shaw Portal, reset the password for your E-mail-ID, and then try to logon. Tell us (not "TELUS") if this worked, or tell us if it did not work.

I had reset my password a few times, but it didn't work....

I had reset my password a few times, but it didn't work.

 

I used the online chat and a Shaw/Rogers CSR was able to fix it. In the end, there was an old purged account that no longer exists linked to my shawid. Once they removed that, I was able to login without any issue.
