I have been trying to connect to livechat without any luck, I've been on hold on the phone for almost 2 hours. What do I do? How can I talk to someone? I'm a Rogers customer but a returning Shaw customer for internet and after 7 days of extremely poor customer service and a better deal with a different company I cancelled my plan and returned the equipment. I just received a $260 bill for a month plus equipment which I returned but assuming it was backlogged from the Canada Post Stike. When I sign into my account it says $0 is owed but it's my old account number not the new one which they said they would merge and never did so I have no way of knowing what I owe which I was told would be prorated for the 7 whole days I didn't use or have the service so it should be under $20 not $260! But I can't even talk to anyone to sort it out!!! HELP, what do I do?
@Blue_Kona , Gee I wish someone on here could help you with this matter but there are no employees of Rogers/Shaw on this forum anymore (long time). this is just a peer to peer discussion forum with community volunteers who try to help if and where they can, but this would be a more serious issue that you would have to talk to them directly either by chat or phone 1888-472-2222. They are probably swamped being a Friday and short staffed being the tale end of xmas/new years breaks or vacations. Good luck, fingers crossed for you.
@Blue_Kona -- logon to the My Shaw Portal, to see your current account-balance.
Also, select "Bills", where you can view all the "transactions" in the most-recent two months, to see if the $270 charge has been reversed.
How convenient for Roger’s to have jammed phone lines and no in person customer service at convenient locations to deal with ongoing issues. I recall Roger’s trying to promote their fantastic customer service to get their Shaw merger approved. I along with many other former Shaw customers have been left in the dark to try to get help with Roger’s issues. I too cancelled my TV service, because Roger’s left me no other option. Is anyone from Roger’s listening to their customers? Or, have we resorted to forums so that Roger’s customers are expected to sort out Roger’s problems for them?? As for billing issues, try CRTC at 1-888-221-1687; maybe if enough of us call the agency responsible for monitoring telecommunications they will start to do their jobs for Canadians.
