@Scotty75 -- I presume that you mean a southern suburb of Calgary?
Looking at: Find Shaw Service Updates & Outages by Region (click this link)
I see nothing specific to "Southern Alberta". Shaw does delete messages on this page, after clearing any outage.
I recommend that you telephone your local Shaw office, to see if they have better information than I do.
