This is forwarding to a Linux machine with a static LAN IP address.
The port is accessible by other hosts on the LAN. 

I don't see any other services on that machine offering that port. In fact telnet to the external ip on that port gets no response. Firewall off... 

Good points all, but there is something else afoot. I will write up a simple service for another port on that host and see what happens with that.

Port forwarding is not working on this model for me either.

Its forcing me to change network name and download a shaw bluevurve app just to port forward.

Ridiculous system that shaw shipped out.

Probably went something like 

"We cant farm enough data from the bluecurve app because not many users use it."

"Oh make it necessary for port forwarding."
