So just recently we had our modem replaced. However, when we connect our new printer, it wont connect. We tried first to connect with WPS push button, didn't work. We then tried to use the password, didn't work either. It did print out a diagsnostic report, and it says that "No Filtering" failed.
From all the "PASS" results, it seems that your printer is properly connected to your SSID.
Login to the web-interface on the Shaw router, and display the list of wirelessly-connected devices. The printer should be listed.
On your computer, "remove" the current definition for the printer, restart your computer, and then "scan" for new printers. Does it find the printer?
Nope, its not connecting to the modem. I know because it says error connecting to the network on the printer screen when I try to connect it to Wi-Fi.
> Network Name (SSID) -- dgood
> Hardware Address (MAC) -- TLDR
> IP Address -- Not applicable
> Configuration Source -- Not applicable
Yes, without having a value (something like 192.168.xxx.yyy or 10.0.0.zzz) for the IP-address, your printer has not connected to your WiFi network.
Are you sure that you have correctly entered the password for your SSID?
@Hp8600 are you seeing the same error messages when trying to connect? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
