Xbox Live moderate NAT, UPNP not successful.

Been here before, still having NAT moderate issues, and UPNP issues with Xbox Live. Was told to go talk to Microsoft support, but I'm back because my router/modem does not have a UPNP switch. HELP ME.

Alright so I am using Bluesky, the internet and cable package, but I do not know the model. Is there a way to check or is that enough information to know what type it is?

Sorry for my late response, I never got notified you responded. I have the XB6 Advanced WiFi Modem.

Thanks! This actually falls outside our support scope but I will try to give you some links that may help. Hopefully we have other Community members who can chime in with some advice on how to get this working. 

Xbox One Network Ports | Xbox Live Network Ports  - this page has some more information regarding port forwarding, which may resolve the issue

You can find the options for port forwarding under the Advanced settings here.

Login to your shaw modem. 

We have the same modem. 

Open up your internet browser and enter in the address bar 10.0.0.1

The username should be admin and password is either cusadmin or password, if I remember correctly.

Go to Advanced - Port forwarding. 

Enter the ports provided by Xbox.

It looks like this when all is said and done. 

That will open your NAT on xbox. Xbox rarely goes back to moderate after this. Even then its usually a false showing and changes to open. That happens when you have recently turned your xbox on. 

It should solve your issues. As it has solved mine. Hope I helped.

If you don't know what IP address to enter (Local IP Address), head over to your Xbox's network settings section and it'll tell you which IP address the consol is connected to.
