Find answers to common questions about the Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription included with select Rogers Xfinity TV (formerly known as Ignite TV) plans. Learn about how to activate Disney+ and manage your subscription.
Disney+ Standard with Ads is included at no additional cost for customers with a qualifying Ignite TV plan (Total, Popular, Premier or Ultimate).
If you qualify, you’ll see a banner to activate your included Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription when you sign in to My Shaw and go to Subscriptions under My Services.
You can activate using that banner or the link in the email you’ve received.
If you have an existing Disney+ subscription, you can still activate your included subscription using the same Disney+ account.
If you have a Standard with Ads subscription, your existing Disney+ subscription will be paused automatically.
If you have a Standard or Premium subscription, Disney+ will notify you that you have multiple subscriptions and you’ll need to manage them in your Disney+ account.
If you have an existing Disney+ subscription billed through a third party (i.e., Apple, Google, etc.), you need to cancel that subscription with that third party to avoid duplicate subscriptions and fees.
If you have an Extra Member add-on through Disney+, you’ll continue to have access to it and Disney+ will continue to bill you for the Extra Member until you cancel it.
Disney+ subscription and account
Log in to My Shaw or the My Shaw app and navigate to Subscriptions to check your Disney+ subscription status and find other resources.
You can go to the Disney+ website at disneyplus.com and log in to manage other account settings.
Once activated, the Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription will remain active until you change or cancel your eligible Ignite TV package, or until Rogers changes or cancels the subscription in accordance with your residential service agreement and terms of service.
Upgrades to Disney+ Standard or Premium tiers are available as part of your plan. To change your tier, reach out to us at 1-888-472-2222.
