How to use Plex with Ignite TV and Ignite Streaming

Plex lets you stream over 15,000 movies and TV shows, plus 300+ channels of live TV instantly, no subscription needed. Use the Discover section to find any movie or show and where to watch it all in one place.

Note: Media server and TIDAL music service aren't available within the app.

How to access

Voice remote

  • Say "Plex" into your Ignite Voice Remote to open the Plex app.

Ignite TV: Apps menu

  1. Press the Shaw button on your remote control.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Scroll down to the Entertainment section.
  4. Select Plex from the list.

Ignite Streaming: Apps menu

  1. Press the Home button on your Ignite Voice Remote.
  2. Select Plex from the Apps menu.

How to sign in to your Plex account from your Ignite Entertainment Box

  1. From the home page of the Plex app, scroll left to bring up the side menu and select Sign In.
  2. Select Sign In on the Plex page.
  3. Using your mobile device, either scan the QR code or enter “plex.tv/link” into any browser.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and select Sign In.
  5. Once signed in, enter the code you see on your TV, to sync Ignite Entertainment Box.

How to sign up for a Plex account from your Ignite Entertainment Box

  1. From the home page of the Plex app, scroll left to bring up the side menu and select Sign In.
  2. Select Sign Up Free on the Plex page.
  3. Using your mobile device, either scan the QR code or enter “plex.tv/link” into any browser.
  4. Select Create an Account.
  5. Use your preferred email and password.
  6. Once signed in, enter the code you see on your TV, to sync Ignite Entertainment Box.
