We recently switched to an Ignite modem. However every cable outlet we plugged the modem in to, our regular cable TV would start freezing, buffering or quit completely. In addition, our WIFI devices are now much slower than before. Streaming is good sometimes but still badly buffering compared to before. Tried everything suggested by Shaw, but it hasnt helped. any ideas?
@TAB_1 -- Shaw "provisioned" your previous cable-modem to throttle your Internet to give you the speed that you are paying each month. Did Shaw correctly "provision" your current cable-modem to give you the same speed? Can Shaw check, and maybe repeat the "provisioning"?
@TAB_1 Very strange, that modem shouldn’t affect those cable boxes. I think that there must be an issue with the cable in the house, I would ask Rogers for a service call to get someone to come out and check everything out.
@TAB_1 -- that "Arris 3510-M" is a high-definition set-top TV box, that feeds audio/video to your TV.
You cannot connect your computer(s) to it, to access the Internet.
What is the model-number of the "Ignite modem", which provides wired/wireless connectivity to the Internet?

Are you streaming to an Internet-connected "Smart-TV", or to one of your computers/devices? Not having the correct "provisioning" for the new modem can cause "buffering".
