If Shaw has now transitioned over to the ignite TV platform, why can we still not record a show from the app? Why can the Rogers customers using Ignite TV App record from the app?

@mcleod52 They just relabelled the Shaw app, nothing else changed. I hope it doesn’t change until the Ignite TV app supports FireTV.
I also cannot record from the app. Earlier this week it changed from Blue curve to Ignite TV, but there is not way to set up a recording from the app.
We could set recordings on the Bluecurve App, but cannot set recordings on the Ignite TV app. This is a big step backwards. Can we transfer to Rogers instead and get all the features of the Ignite TV App that Rogers customers get?

How so?
I was able to set recordings in the Shaw Blue Curve app.
Cannot set recordings in the Shaw Ignite Tv App.
Apparently can set recordings in the Rogers Ignite TV app .

@cvaneck You could never set recordings with the BlueCurve app, you must be thinking of the Shaw Go Gateway app.
Ahh, yes. Thank you , I stand corrected. Have just replaced equipment . It was the gateway app.
I miss that feature.

Yes, I am still on the Gateway and mostly happy. From what I have heard of BlueCurve and Ignite, I'm hoping it takes them a long time to force me to switch even though I know it is inevitable.
