- I ordered remotes that haven’t shown up. Called the about it numerous times. Are the items being shipped to the wrong address? Or, porch-pirates?
- My system doesn’t load Netflix without unplugging the power and plugging it back in. The boxes constantly disconnect from WiFi. Contact Support, and ask the Agent to remotely logon to their equipment in your home, to review the "signal strength" reaching it, because poor values can manifest with this issue.
- The remotes go through batteries non stop. Are you using cheap "carbon/zinc" batteries, or quality "alkaline" batteries?
- If you drop the remote the top breaks off. This reminds me of a Groucho Marx movie from over 50 years ago: Patient to Doctor: my arm hurts when I go like this. Doctor Quackenbush: well, stop doing that.
- Just got off the phone with a person that couldn’t comprehend English. It seemed very unprofessional and reminded me of talking to a little kid. Every business has problems recruiting staff & problems training them. Exhausted nurses quit. Doctors close their practise. My accountant just gave me notice that I am being dropped, as her company is being forced to down-size (from 2 offices to 1) due to unable to recruit professional staff. There is no reason that Shaw is any different.
P.S. "a little kid" -- people have the voices that they have, and should not be shamed by anybody for something that they cannot change. [TV actors are different: on a late-night talk-show this week, Gillian Anderson spoke with her native (British) accent, unlike the "American" voice she used in "The X-Files". Lucy Lawless spoke "American" for "Xena - Warrior Princess", rather than her own (New Zealand) accent. Tom Cruise stands on platforms when filming a "two-shot" with a taller actor, because he will never be tall. Melissa Rauch dropped her high-priced voice from "The Big Bang Theory" for her own voice in the revival of the "Night Court" series.]
