You can set up Automatic Payments for your monthly bills using the My Shaw website (my.shaw.ca) or the My Shaw app  (Apple App Store | Google Play Store). My Shaw is the best way to set up Automatic Payments without having to contact us. Get started with My Shaw today.

Note: If you're using a Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit card for Automatic Payments, your card must be enabled for recurring e-commerce transactions to work with Automatic Payments. This feature can be turned on in your online banking app or by contacting your bank if you haven't already done so.

Notice: Automatic Payments withdrawal & required payment dates are shifting as of July 15th, 2024. Required payment date will be 21 days after the invoice date, and automatic payment will now be withdrawn from your banking institution 14 days after your invoice is generated & sent.

Why are you changing the due date/Automatic Payments withdrawal date?

  • We understand that changes to your billing experience can be impactful. As we continue to integrate our systems and create a more consistent experience for our customers across the country, we’re adjusting the timing of Automatic Payments and due dates.

What can I do if I am concerned about the timing of autopayments being withdrawn?

  • With this change, you may initially experience two monthly payments close together. Payments will then continue on a regular monthly schedule. The change in withdrawal schedule won't create additional billing or payments for your services. It's just a timing change. If you are experiencing trouble making your bill payments, please contact us for more support.

What if I would like to change my Automatic Payment enrollment?

  • If you would like to chat with an agent about how the upcoming changes will impact you further, please contact us. If you prefer to self-manage your Autopay status, please view (Link out to manage Automatic Payments subscription.)

What if I want to change my due date/autopay withdrawal date to a specific date?

Set up Automatic Payments using the My Shaw website

To set up Automatic Payments using the My Shaw website:

  1. Sign in to my.shaw.ca.
  2. Scroll down to Automatic Payments.
  3. Select Set up Automatic Payments.
  4. Select Credit card or Bank account as your preferred payment method.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Enter credit card or bank account details.
  7. Select Sign up to enable Automatic Payments.

You can cancel Automatic Payments any time by repeating steps 1 and 2 and selecting Unsubscribe. Or select Edit to change the payment method of your existing Automatic Payments.

Set up Automatic Payments using the My Shaw app

To set up Automatic Payments using the My Shaw app (Apple App Store | Google Play Store😞

  1. Open the My Shaw app.
  2. Select the Billing tab in the bottom menu.
  3. Scroll down to Manage Billing and toggle Automatic Payments on.
  4. Select the Pay Bill button.
  5. Select New Payment Card or Bank Account as your payment method.
  6. Enter your credit card or bank account details.
  7. Select Confirm.

You can cancel Automatic Payments any time by repeating steps 1 and 2 and toggling Automatic Payments off. Or select Edit to change the payment method of your existing Automatic Payments.

Did you know? You can also save your credit card details for Automatic Payments while paying in the app by selecting the Set up Automatic Payments box.

Set up Automatic Payments while making a payment

Automatic Payments can also be easily enabled while paying using a credit card in My Shaw.

Set up Automatic Payments in the My Shaw app:

  1. Select the Pay Bill button.
  2. Select Pay total balance, or select Pay amount and enter a payment amount.
  3. Enter your payment details.
  4. Check the box for Set up Automatic Payments.
  5. Select Confirm.

  1. Visit my.shaw.ca.
  2. Sign in using your Shaw ID and password.
  3. Under My Bills, select the Make a payment button.
  4. Enter a payment amount.
  5. Enter your payment details or select a saved credit card profile.
  6. Check the box for Set up Automatic Payments.
  7. Select Pay now.
