Rogers WiFi Hotspots (formerly known as Shaw Go WiFi) allows you to stay connected no matter where you are with access to Canada’s largest WiFi network with hundreds of thousands of hotspots available across Western Canada. Available to Shaw Internet customers.

Connecting Apple devices

The ShawPasspoint network (SSID) allows for easier registration to Rogers WiFi Hotspots on your Apple device. This lets you register for Rogers WiFi Hotspots from any location with an Internet connection, without having to be physically near a hotspot.

To connect to ShawPasspoint:

  1. Visit the Get Started page.
  2. Using the Safari web browser, register for Rogers WiFi Hotspots using your Shaw ID.

Minimum device requirements:

  • An Apple device using iOS 8 or higher
  • iPhone 5 or newer
  • iPad 3rd generation or newer
  • iPad Air
  • iPad Mini 2nd generation or newer

Connecting Android and all other devices

To connect all other devices to the RogersOpen network:

  1. Visit your nearest hotspot. To find a hotspot near you visit shaw.ca/internet/wifi.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Wi-Fi.
  4. Select RogersOpen from the available networks.
  5. Complete your registration by signing in with your Shaw ID.

Once connected, your device will automatically connect to the RogersOpen network the next time you are within range of a hotspot.
